For me, hands down, the 'winner' was "The Running of the Squirrels" (EDS). A couple of the Pepsi commercials amused me, and the VW in the tree was pretty good. Oh, and I liked the early Bud commercial, where the guy 'shook it up, baby' and 'blew' it in his lady's face, as well as the later "whassup" Bud commercial. But all paled in the dust of the squirrels. Heh.

Funny Superbowl story:
Was on the phone with an old (male) friend of mind. I'd muted the TV but had the game on. During half time I was telling him how much boy bands bug me (yeah, I want a bunch of rich KIDS telling ME about broken hearts, ect). ANYWAY, I told him I can *stand* Brittany Spears when I have to. He says he hates her. I tell him, "You are a red blooded male, you know you like her." He goes on to say he doesn't know of anyone who can stand her......on and on about how sexist my comment was....'not all guys' yadda, yadda, yadda.......
Suddenly I hear hollers and cat calls on his end. Seems the guys he was watching the game with caught sight of ol' Brittany during the half time show.
I told him to thank the guys for proving my point.

I liked the doritos commercial and the squirrels! The early bud commercial with the beer in the girl's face was a hoot too! I also really enjoyed Aerosmith at half time! LOVE THAT BAND!

I liked the early FedEx commercial - where people in their recliners were popping out of the tops of their houses cause they put the wrong springs in 'em.

Since the game was soooo riveting (too bad these guys couldn't throw the ball, catch the ball or even run without falling down! ) I sat there waiting only for the commercials....Did enjoy the "What are You doing?" & the Alien WHAAAASUUUP (mostly because we have a yellow lab who hops the fence ever time we let her out & the commercial helped to explain where she goes all the time!...he.he.he.he.he)....& the Pepsi "we got it" from the jail!....&...the FedEx "these springs will do".....
But I think my favorite was the monkey in the dot com ghost town!....Especially his tear streaked face at the end!....

I don't know if this commercial was national or regional, but the Southwest Airlines got my biggest laugh.
A convertible sports car pulls up to the curb where an old man is feeding pigeons and blows his horn scaring away the pigeons and parks. The voice over says, "That's low"
Next scene the old man is throwing pigeon food inside the sports car and their is pigeons and pigeon sh*t everywhere on the car. The voice over says, "That's even lower"
Then they mention the lowest prices on flights is Southwest Airlines. The old man's revenge was a hoot.
