Ok, if you could pick a song to best describe you what would it be?
I'll go first...
Most of the time it's definitely "If I Only Had A Brain" (The Scarecrow From the Wizard of Oz)

Enigma's "Return to Innocence"...just to remind me to take a step back and think before acting or speaking...
After all, once you've said or done something, you can't REALLY "take it back." You can only apologize.
Much easier to never say it in the first place.

'I gotta be me'-not sure that's the correct name, but you get the idea.

Mine would be: "Young at Heart"
Fairy tales can come true,
It can happen to you
If you're young at heart
For it's hard, you will find,
To be narrow of mind
If you're young at heart
You can go to extremes
With impossible schemes
You can laugh when your dreams
Fall apart at the seams
And life gets more exciting
With each passing day
And love is either
In your heart or on its way
Don't you know that it's worth
Every treasure on Earth
To be young at heart
For as rich as you are
It's much better by far
To be young at heart
And if you should survive
To 105
Look at all you'll derive
Out of being alive
Then here is the best part
You have a head start
If you are among
The very young at heart
Don't you know that it's worth
Every treasure on Earth
To be young at heart
For as rich as you are
It's much better by far
To be young at heart
And if you should survive
To 105
Look at all you'll derive
Out of being alive
Then here is the best part
You have a head start
If you are among
The very young at heart

Took sum lookin' but I finally found the lyrics...rather than edit I thought I would post "Never Surrender"...just a little more time is all we’re asking for
‘cause just a little more time could open closing doors
just a little uncertainty can bring you down
and nobody wants to know you now
and nobody wants to show you how
so if you’re lost and on your own
you can never surrender
and if your path won’t lead you home
you can never surrender
and when the night is cold and dark
you can see, you can see light
‘cause no one can take away your right
to fight and to never surrender
with a little perseverance you can get things done
without a blind adherence that has conquered some
and nobody wants to know you now
and nobody wants to show you how
so if you’re lost and on your own
you can never surrender
and if your path won’t lead you home
you can never surrender
and when the night is cold and dark
you can see, you can see light
‘cause no one can take away your right
to fight and to never surrender, to never surrender
(repeat last 4 lines)
time is al we’re asking for
(ad lib to end)

Ok, I must edit my first post, because I don't want you all to think I am some bird-brained dweeb I have a TWO year old...so that explains my first "theme song"
So, I am going to pick another (hey I started this thread, I can change the rules LOL) "Forever Young" by Rod Stewart
** I also reserve the right to change it again, and again, and again...**

There is a current singer named Nina Gordon. One of her songs is "Horses in the City".
One of the phrases in the song is,
I played the game
I dropped the ball
I lost another friend
I gained a future
But I can’t see where the future ends
I’d write a letter or write a song
But once again my voice just comes out wrong
I wonder if I’ll live long enough to sing again
Help me ’cause I’m falling out of grace
I hang my head and hide my face
I don’t know what it is
I just feel out of place
like horses in the city
Sort of sums up where I'm at right now.

If I had to pick one, I'd have to say it was "B!TCH" by Meredith Brooks.
That or "I Don't Care Anymore" by Phil Collins

So many people have said that "B!TCH" is me! I was trying to think the other day who sang it but couldn't remember, now I know! Thanks! (It is a truely great song!)
My personal favorite theme song, at least right now, would have to be "Unforgiven" by Metallica..
What I've felt
What I've known
Never shined through what I've shown.
Never be
Never see
Won't see what might have been.
What I've felt
What I've known
Never shined through what I've shown.
Never free
Never me
So I dub thee unforgiven...
You labeled me
I'll label you
So I dub thee unforgiven..
(It's a song of many moods...)
