Any of you fans? I don't know where else to ask this.
I read a book a couple years ago where an alien civilization attacked the solar system as soon as they started recieving radio and TV from us (can you blame them?)
They were purple octopi and had come to be bossed by their computers that were smarter than themselves.
The only know survivors were in a deep submarine when the attack took place but there were survivors deep in space unknown to the aliens so I was sure there would be a sequel.
I just can't remember the title or author.
Does anyone know or a better place to search?
