I just received the below link from a friend, who happens to be a cat lover like myself, and I don't know if it's real or just a sick prank.

http://www.bonsaikitten.com

I already emailed PETA to ask about it's validity, but I'm yet to hear back from them.

I just shudder to think somebody would be sick enough to think on something like this, yet alone atually practice it.

Please send your love-letters to: [email protected]

then send your plead for help to: [email protected]

Thanks for hearing out.

Centuries ago there was a guy who took human babies and they would grow inside vase-like items which result in them being deformed.

I think the guy's name gave us the M in S&M.

So this about animals don't surprise me -if it is true. I don't condone it. There are laws in the USA that would result in punishment for those who do this -even though it would be a "slap on the wrist."

BTW it really doesn't take much to find out who owns a dotcom, dotorg or a dotnet. The address is New York City.....

LoL!

At Bonsai Kitten, we are happy to take care of all the little details and simply deliver to you a fully shaped kitten according to your specifications. However, for those who have applied for and received the appropriate Bonsai Kitticulture permits from the U.S. government, we are happy to provide details of the procedure to those who want to start from "scratch"! There are three main requirements that must be considered when making a Bonsai Kitten:

1.Air. This ought to go without saying, but you'd be surprised how many amateurs forget this detail and wind up with a cold, hard kitty in the morning! If the containment vessel is sealed, you must drill airholes prior to kitten insertion. A diamond drill is recommended for glass vessels.
2.Food & Water. Especially if the kitten's head is being shaped (one of the most versatile aspects of the Bonsai Kitten), it will not be able to eat or drink normally. The most common solution is another hole in the container with a feeding tube to the kitten's mouth, where a liquid food slurry can provide both nutrient and hydration requirements.
3.Waste Removal. Left to its own devices, the kitten would quickly fill its vessel with its own urine and feces, leading to certain sickness and death, not to mention the inevitably unpleasant appearance and odor. The best solution is to seal the kitten's anus with Super Glue prior to insertion, and then insert a waste tube through a third hole in the vessel. As the kitten's body is still developing, a natural rectal diverticulum will soon form around the tube, which can be drained in any convenient fashion. It's just like a kitty colostomy bag!

Totally hilarious! Great gift idea, and unlike Bonsai trees, there's no need to keep them outdoors most of the time to obtain a realistic effect.

A Kitty Terrarium.

Can it be modified to preserve the sweet little mews at dinnertime?

Your kitty won't rub up on your leg or scratch the furniture but she'll really make a neat doorstop.

My thoughts on this issue have gone 'Un-Surveyed' and may not be of importance to the P.T.B.

It will be interesting to see what sentence they will get.

The Iowa boys a few years ago that were cruel to many animals had their hands slapped. The case caused the legislature to have a bill dealing with animal cruelty.

Take a deep breath, count to 10, and then realize it's a goof. Good grief.

Just about every joke has a patsy. Everytime we laugh at a joke about women, men, Irish, Polish, Italians, Blacks, etc., even if it's our own ethnic group, someone is being made fun of.

In this case it's cats. Got three of my own feline terrorists in the house, but still I can laugh.

I wonder why kids like to play "velcro" with kittens, or "sick" there dogs on cats or abuse cats in the name of religion ("I wanted to prove man had dominion over animals" as stated by a 14 year old son-of-a-bible-thumper after mutilating a cat with his buddies.)
It's no longer acceptible to make racist jokes. It's no longer acceptible to abuse children. Why is it funny to laugh about animal abuse?
One guy was shut down because his "dog eating " site was "legit" and a group of anti abuse folks followed him and nuked his sorry butt.
Anyhow. What if this was a joke about children? Women?
I kind of wish it was about pasty faced white guys... then something would be done about it.
Oh but wait, we know they already live in a box...the room in their parents house.
