I received one of those George Foreman Lean, Mean, Fat Reducing Grilling Machines as a present, and I'm here to say that this thing is the greatest
No muss, no fuss (my favorite kind of cooking). Just cooked myself a plump (1 inch thick) chicken breast for lunch before popping off to work...tender & juicy And fast! I have cooked steaks, hamburgers, chicken sausages, etc. on this thingie & everything comes out perfect
I am in love!

I agree. I have one and I can't tell you how much good use I've gotten out of it.

I got one of those as a doorprize.
Does decent Eggplant and tofu.
I don't eat meat (you don't stay size 6 at 5 feet tall by eating meat, dairy etc)

Not. My wife is 5'2" and size 5 while eating like a starved dog.

I have had a George Foreman Grill for about 2 years. It is great.
Top a piece of bread with tomato sauce, pepperoni and cheese. Cover with another slice of bread. Grill it for about 2 or 3 minutes. It comes out like a pizza sandwich.

I love my GF grill too. It was the best gift I ever got for Ted.

I used one to cook a 24lb turkey for thankgiving. Had to sit on the lid to hold it down though.

Yep, had mine for about a year...it makes great grilled cheese sandwiches, fish, etc.
One question though, has anyone found a really *easy* way to clean it? The way I do it usually takes quie a while, unless I clean it while it's still hot.

Julsey...Ted's cleans right up. I do it while it is still warm, but not hot. And I don't let him use it,

Jules...
I just let mine heat for a minute or 2 after dinner...or whenever I get the urge to clean it. Makes it easy. Even a week later...

Yes the GF grill is a wondrous thing, an update of the Presto Hamburger Cooker of the mid to late 70s.
Even today, it still makes a pretty darned good burger. Cooks salmon steaks rather nicely too

Darn, am I the only person left in the free world who hasn't bought a GFLMGM?
I just informed Mr. Nobs that I want one too!
I am tired of bending over the broiler. I have a grill pan that you put on top of the stove but this GF machine sounds like something I must have

I don't know how I survived before my George Foreman grill!!! I use it practically every day.
My hubby likes fish and I used to broil it. I began to dread cleaning the broiler everyday. The grill has given me back my life!
My hubby, who can just barely microwave soup, even used the grill by himself to make a turkey burger. OK, I had to make the patty ahead of time and leave explicit written directions, but still, this was a big step for him!
One tip I have about cleaning the grill, once it cools down a little, I get a paper towel sopping wet and lay it on the grill and close it. When I go back to clean it later , the towel has dried a little and I wipe up most of the mess with it. Then I can just use a soapy sponge to finish up. Also, I spray it with Pam first and that helps a lot even tho it is already a no-stick surface.

I love mine, use it all the time. I don't like most vegetables, but if you slice yellow squash lengthwise and spray it with olive oil before you grill it, It's great.
Makes good bacon too, no splatter.
