In my quest to eat more vegetables (at the dire command of my doctor) I have sincerely tried to like cauliflower.

Now, cooked cauliflower is to be avoided at all costs--in texture, odor & taste it is truly ghastly.

I've been tolerating raw cauliflower by a) eating *fast*, b) dipping in something (& eating fast), or c) combining with bite of something edible & swallowing quickly.

But today I have discovered the secret of making (raw) cauliflower truly tasty & edible: Watkin's Spicy Garlic Soy Sauce. Sprinkle this wonderful soy sauce liberally over raw cauliflower and tuck right in. You don't even have to eat fast. This stuff makes cauliflower that *good.*

This has been a Public Service announcement.

I eat raw cauliflower...

Most often dipped in Ranch Salad Dressing.

Some times cheese or other salad dressing.

Of course I have been known to put broccoli in chili, so don't take my word for it...

So...er...what's the sodium level on that stuff?

800 % of your daily allowance?

wink wink!!!

I avoid cauliflower. As a child I was sure it was some sort of brain.

However, spinich with a nice rice vinegar is good.

bunnicula.

I'm going to try that!

Thanks for the tip.

I'd rather have salt than sugar!

LOL

Low sodium soy is really great for marinades, esp soy, and onions....

I will try to sautee some cauliflower and not imagine I am on some forbidden planet.

I just discovered salsa...late in life... That will perk up anything, and make it edible...for me, at least.

Toke,

I'm going to suggest salsa to my husband.
Right now he adds ketsup to EVERYTHING.

bunnicula,
I'll bet that would be good on broccoli
also...not salsa but the Spicy Garlic Soy
Sauce.

HJW...

Does he like spicy food? If not, start him out on the mild version. I've worked my way up to **HOT**. The nice thing is, it has few calories but lots of flavor.
