www.cruisealert.com You can go to the site and register for a weekly email that presents last-minute deals as well as special bargains when the ships have just a couple of cabins left and want to close out the cruise. You usually have to act pretty fast because the prices are great and they go fast--example, a Norwegian Cruise Lines southern Carribbean itinerary, 7 nights, was only $260/pp for inside cabin, $314 for outside (plus port charges).
I have no affiliation with cruisealert--I'm just a satisfied customer. I've purchased two cruise vacations through them, and so far we've spent less on both vacations than my friend spent on one!

Thanks for the tip psyllie.
I wound up on Expedia.com but deco it is not meant to be.
I was looking for Carnival strictly because of superior childcare - "Camp Carnival" they have and looking to go NOW while my daughter is on Sprink Break.
Turns out they have a minimum age of 2 and my son misses the limit by 2 weeks, and it is strictly enforced.
Anyway, if I split the kids, everyone would be miserable.
Very disappointing, I spent most the day laying it all out only to find this out when booking, but like I said, clearly not meant to be. VeryModern Space Junk
