At the risk of being suspended, which is not of importance to me since I don’t post much here but do stop in to read now and then, I have to ask AW what is up with all the suspensions lately? I will not mention any suspended members, but I have run across some of them in the big world wide web and many of them seem to share the same feelings about AW – Gestapo camp sort of sums it up pretty well. And while it’s not of any great consequence to me, apparently those who have been longtime members here are sorry to see how quickly this site is heading towards its great demise.
It seems to be that the Round Table is no longer a place to kick back and have fun, but has become a place where adults are constantly treated like children by having their hands smacked for everything they say. The atmosphere here has become very closed and that’s a real shame because there are so many intelligent people that post here and much is lost when you continually toss people out the door. The list of suspendees has grown dramatically since the week you announced your new fee schedule. Many displaced members have found new homes, but it is apparent that they are saddened by the loss of what they once considered a great place to hang out and connect with others. Your rules for posting here continue to narrow with each and every day. So much is lost because people feel the need to tiptoe around in fear of receiving the proverbial boot. And that’s just really sad.
I imagine that malkav99 will be tossed out with the rest because I have spoken my mind and AW really does not want to hear about discontent. Again, this is of no consequence to me. But I do hope that those who have been sent packing are able to find a place where they are free to express themselves and share their unique personalities with others.

I, too, have noticed the change in tone of this whole discussion board - and it saddened me. I wish we could go back to the days where people actually had fun with the moderators.
In each person that is lost, excellent ideas and comments are lost. This is an incredible sounding board full of wonderful people. I really feel these people are an asset to AW - and a free one at that. I have found myself posting questions here because I quickly will get the answers I am looking for.
I try to live by the rule that you can catch a whole lot more bears with honey than with lemon.
There have been some changes at AW, but they're actually relatively minor ones in the grand scheme of things. I believe after everyone (including us) becomes accustomed to the revised CGs, we'll all be fine with them.
