This has bothered me for longer than I care to admit, but am I the only person that ever noticed the absence of the Tan peanut M&M's? Forget about the way they come now with the Blue, and new and improved red. When I was a kid there was Plain or Peanut. Both varieties had the orange, yellow, green & brown. Except for some reason (and this is what bothers me) The plain variety always had a few Tan colored M&M's. They never came in the Peanut variety though, and I demand to know why! I used to open whole packs of them and sort them by color and then eat all of one color firist, and then the other... That's probably why this issue annoyed me so much as a child because the Tan ones were my favorites (yeah I know they all taste the same) but they were singled out and there were always less of them, and none in the peanut packs. I realize I was obviously bored as a child to notice such things ( I was an only child - that probably explains alot!) But someone please tell me I am NOT the only person on earth who noticed this.

They were afraid insensitive children would make ethnic jokes about the tan so they were quietly discontinued.

The Tan ones gave you cancer but they shredded all the memos and were able to cover it up - except for a few stubborn people.
Will Billions of dollars at stack they will stop at nothing. Do you hear helicopters?

Maybe they did a new study showing that the dye they used for the tan m&m might cause cancer.

Isn't that why they discontinued the red one a long time ago up until recently?

The tan ones were overwhelmingly rejected by
the consumers....more of this color than any
other were found crushed on the floors of
Movie theaters on Saturday afternoons.

So due to a really heavy movie house lobby
they were coated in green and recycled.
Oh yeah!!

LOL @ a tan M & M conspiracy.
I can't help you there.

BUT, I was glad to hear you share, I used to open whole packs of them and sort them by color and then eat all of one color first, and then the other because I realized I was not the only one who sorted them. In my sorting, I put one of each color in a group. Then I'd eat the extra ones.

Plain M&M's (any color) are fine, Peanut M&M's are the work of the Devil...

Unfortunately, Zilvy, that did not work with the black Jujy Fruits.

I threw a lot of them on the floor, and they still include them in the box.

Black Jujy Fruits should be thrown at the screen, not on the floor.

Um...all the colors DO NOT taste the same.

I liked the tan ones as well and I used to sort them by color.
