From an interview with the Seattle Post-Intelligencer:

"What I'm suggesting to you is, if you can't name the foreign minister of Mexico, therefore, you know, you're not capable of what you do. But the truth of the matter is you are, whether you can or not."

And WHERE was this man educated? Harvard? Really? ~Adele

How about this one?

"But the true threats to stability and peace are these nations that are not very transparent, that hide behind the—that don't let people in to take a look and see what they're up to. They're very kind of authoritarian regimes. The true threat is whether or not one of these people decide, peak of anger, try to hold us hostage, ourselves; the Israelis, for example, to whom we'll defend, offer our defenses; the South Koreans." - Media roundtable, Washington, D.C., March 13, 2001

And one more for those Californians:

"The California crunch really is the result of not enough power-generating plants and then not enough power to power the power of generating plants."

The man is an idiot. And an embarrassment. At which point, someone will pop up & say "And Clinton wasn't an embarrassment?" (Am I clairvoyant or what? ). The thing is, Clinton wasn't the embarrassment--the Republicans who manufactured the media circus were. Clinton left office...Bush will always be an idiot.

You're right, bunnicula - it was the Republicans fault.

And the Republicans took all of the testimony and in an unprescidented move, dumped it all on the Internet. Then, they claim that it's Clinton's fault that everyone knows what a blow-job means! If the Republicans had any sense of Decency or if the Rrepublicans had a Moral Compass of any sort, they would have respected Clinton's privacy and would never have exposed our nation's kids to the notion of what a blow-job was. They didn't give a damn what the effect was on the nation, how it would effect anyone -- just so long as they could try anything to embarrass Clinton. Then, and here's the worst offnce (of many), they have the NERVE to go around waving that "MORAL COMPASS" crap at us! I, for one, intend that they end up EATING those words!
