Okay - I just recently switched from Netscape to IE. One my credit card account's website it's telling me that I don't have cookies enabled, but when I come to places like AW and eBay it recognizes me. What's up? Anybody know where in internet options cookies are set? I can't find it! Why oh why does Microsoft have to make everything so dam* difficult?

I believe that you can do this under security
settings. Just click internet options under
tools then security settings..click on custom settings and if you scroll down, you will
see enable cookies.

On top (should be ) Click Tools, then go to Internet Options, then click tab: Security, then on bottom, click Custom Level, there you can enable or disable cookies. Hope that helps. [email protected]
Actually it IS hard to find!
I was sitting there going thru all the internet options, going I KNOW its here someplace, and I've used IE and Netscape both for a long time!

Thanx for the info - I checked and it does say cookies are enabled. I wonder what else could be causing this problem - any ideas?

Try Tools; Internet Options; tab Content, look there, I doubt thats it, but it has 'Personal Information' for Internet Shopping. But then go to Advanced and go down that list, it might be something in there? Not sure, but you probably should check those. Good luck! [email protected]
