I started a scrapbook a couple of months ago for my 3 and 4 year olds, and was wondering if anyone knows of any really cute websites that has cute or sweet poems that I can use scraping. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi,
I'm a scrapbooker too. I don't have the specific addresses of any sites, but when I was working a special book of my kids I just put "scrapbooking" in my search engine and surfed around. I found lots of sites that had phrases and poems by categories. I also once bought a book from ebay of phrases. Hope that helps.

Hi. I am more of a "scrap-journaler" than a "scrapbooker". I do try to be acid free when possible but creative memories is not my style at all. I do family albums, nature journals, art journals, writing journals, and most often things of the heart...which might be any passion at any given moment. I confess that I steal people's icons, photos, song lyrics, poems, etc. from chatboards. (If you are reading and I know you, you may be a victim.)

I don't have a favorite site though I do browse various ones. I like the journaling sites much better than the scrapbooking ones.

Here are two of my favorite books for inspiration:
http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/1564965856/o/qid=990838934/sr=2-1/ref=aps_sr_b_1_1/107-7538769-2054152
http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/1564966763/ref=sim_books/107-7538769-2054152
They have great ideas but are not of the creative memories genre.

Sorry no poems.

Terri

BTW, I am looking for something called a xylen pen. It doesn't write. It is used for transfering images from paper to paper. As I understand it, you can photocopy/ink jet anything in reverse and use the pen to transfer it onto an existing page in a book and it looks as if it were printed there. (Such as printing photos from the web and making them appear to be printed directly on your page.) Anyone?
