Well, I'm not much of a race car fan, but I just watched as our "home town boy" Sam Hornish, Jr. spun out and caused Al Unser, Jr. to crash. The thing is, Sam - REMARKABLY - didn't get hit by anyone, and he has continued on in the race. I feel bad for Al Unser, Jr. though.

There are big signs on all of our merchants' windows downtown giving support to Sam Hornish. It's a real big deal in the small town of Defiance, OH to have one of our boys racing at Indy. No matter how he finishes, he will get a parade.

I am still watching. But, I am not a happy camper. I had hoped Sarah Fisher would at least place in the top ten!
