The garage sale pet peeve thread reminded me of this.
We passed by an antique store that was having a liquidation sale. We had been in there once before and I was curious to see what the prices would be like this time around.
We stopped in and found that not only were the prices hiked to be reduced, but there were more new items in the store than antique. The people had the nerve to put up a Fiesta look-a-like dinnerware set, with the made in China labels removed from the bottom (you could still see the glue) and a big sign that said "Fiesta Dinnerware-Original Colors."
Needless to say we left. No more "liquidations" for me.

That's funny mtnmamma
The ones that get me, are the "Antique" stores that have the "going out of business" sales about every 6 months, like nobody will notice they never go out of business.
You walk in, and there's a few of those huge hot pink dogs someone won at the fair, a whole lot of mixed china and glass pieces from Walmart, and some cheap Satsuma vase on the counter in a glass case.
