To the one upon whose altar I worship.
KatyD

On the Street Where You Live
Words and Music by Alan Jay Lerner and Frederick Loewe

I have often walked down this street before
But the pavement always stayed beneath my feet before
All at once am I several stories high
Knowing I'm on the street where you live

Are there lilac trees in the heart of town?
Can you hear a lark in any other part of town?
Does enchantment pour out of every door?
No, it's just on the street where you live

And oh, the towering feeling just to know somehow you are near
The overpowering feeling that any second you may suddenly appear

People stop and stare, they don't bother me
For there's nowhere else on earth that I would rather be
Let the time go by, I won't care if I
Can be here on the street where you live

KatyD,

At first, like Kraftdinner and Zilvy, I misunderstood your post. I thought, oh my, another woman romantically smitten by the charms of krs.

But, after some research, this morning, I understand your message.
Your worship is a principled and loyal allegiance to a political and intellectual position that you respect, admire and hold in esteem.

We should all worship at this altar.

Add me to the list.

Helen

The Stalker's Theme Song
Huh? Zazzie? It's a love song from "My Fair Lady", which happens to be one of my favorite musicals. Are you implying that I am a "stalker"? Would appreciate an explanation.

A love song, no more, no less.

zazzie- I just got a great Pulp Fiction leather jacket(does not say Zed). BTW- give katy a break. she's just feeling a bit sentimental today. "a faction of one"-has a ring to it. great title for a song about a stalker. go for it! how about Pulp Faction?

KatyD----I think it is a beautiful song too---but when I was reading the words this morning (out of context of the musical)---it just hit me as words that described 'a' stalker

Zilvy LoL

The Song that you requested.

Ain’t Got No Home
Clarence "Frog Man" Henry

Ooo-ooo ooo-ooo ooo-ooo ooo-ooo ooo

Ain’t got no home.
A-no place to roam.
Ain’t got no home.
A-no place to roam.
I’m a lonely boy.
I ain’t got a home.

I got a voice.
I love to sing.
I sing like a girl
And I sing like a frog.
I’m a lonely boy.
I ain’t got a home.

Ooo-ooo ooo-ooo ooo-ooo ooo-ooo ooo
Ooo-ooo ooo-ooo ooo-ooo ooo-ooo ooo
Ooo-ooo ooo-ooo ooo-ooo ooo-ooo ooo
Ooo-ooo ooo-ooo ooo-ooo ooo-ooo ooo
Ooo-ooo ooo-ooo ooo-ooo ooo-ooo ooo
Ooo-ooo ooo-ooo ooo-ooo ooo-ooo ooo

(Girl’s voice
I ain’t got a man.
I ain’t got a son.
I ain’t got a daughter.
I ain’t got no one.
I’m a lonely girl,
I ain’t got a home.

Ooo-ooo ooo-ooo ooo-ooo ooo-ooo ooo
Ooo-ooo ooo-ooo ooo-ooo ooo-ooo ooo
Ooo-ooo ooo-ooo ooo-ooo ooo-ooo ooo
Ooo-ooo ooo-ooo ooo-ooo ooo-ooo ooo
Ooo-ooo ooo-ooo ooo-ooo ooo-ooo ooo
Ooo-ooo ooo-ooo ooo-ooo ooo-ooo ooo

(Frog’s voice
I ain’t got a mudder.
I ain’t got a fadder.
I ain’t got a sister.
Not even a brudder.
I’m a lonely frog,
I ain’t got a home.

Oh, what you say to me.
Please say to me.
Oh, what you say to me.
Please say to me.
I’m a lonely frog,
I ain’t got a home.

Ooo-ooo ooo-ooo ooo-ooo ooo-ooo ooo
Ooo-ooo ooo-ooo ooo-ooo ooo-ooo ooo
Ooo-ooo ooo-ooo ooo-ooo ooo-ooo ooo
Ooo-ooo ooo-ooo ooo-ooo ooo-ooo ooo
Ooo-ooo ooo-ooo ooo-ooo ooo-ooo ooo
Ooo-ooo ooo-ooo ooo-ooo ooo-ooo ooo

HJW thanks for the good effort, but, the song was "I Ain't Got Nobody" and nobody cares for me...a song of lamented lost love...spoofed into being the Ghost Song....
"I Ain't Got No Body!!"

Zazzie I don't know what you edited but I hope you didn't take my play on words
about faction vs. fraction other than silly fun. I have some Krunchies....if only the little dragon would inhale long enough I'll put them down....see ya!

don't fret zilvey---my edit had to do with having [img] at the front and at the end---so the crunchy seeking dragon was nowhere to be seen til I fixed it.

I have fractured the faction so it now a fraction of it's former self
