A letter fron Nancy:

Dear Dubya,

The Angel still rides on the Storm of Victory! The Bush-iosi were ecstatic when they watched your heroic defense of Energy Market Dysregulation in California! You sooo wisely implemented that advice of the Cato Institute: No Energy Policy is the Best Policy. Sure, Curtis Hébert, whom you appointed to the chair of the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, did not want to strike a deal with Kenneth Lay of Enron, when Ken called him up in his office. But, the final decision has to be made by the President: you Dubya. Of course you did what is best for your good friend Ken Lay. Thanks to your magnificent schemes the Bush-iosi will ring up $50 billion more in California in this year than in 1999. That means, that electrical power bill for every California resident will rise with $1,500 during this year. The Bush-iosi pray for a long hot summer! $50 billion is such a great return for that $2,856,073 investment of the Bush-iosi for your election in 2000! Under your magnificent economic policy the Christian Corporation of America prospers and prospers!!

During the course of the California Energy Market Dysregulation Pacific Gas & Electric went bankrupt. Too bad for that company, but thanks to the climate of compassion your
government has created, their top manager Robert Glynn will receive $1 million as a good-bye bonus. Also the other managers will receive their share; a grand total of $50 million in bonuses and pay raises was doled out of the company before they filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy on April 6. That is Compassionate Conservatism at its best!!

Also the Bush-iosi of the Oil and Gas industry have been nicely served by your magnificent policies. For that $1,815000 in investment for your election in 2000 they are now getting to exercise market power. And they didn't hesitate to exercise that power: in New York they make $5.95 per BTU of Natural Gas. In California that is $15 per BTU. That is free market economy at its best!!

The Bush-iosi didn't stop in California. New England is wide open and New Hampshire seems to be ripe for some Bush-iosi Market Power (BMP)! Thanks to the excellent access of the
Bush-iosi to your government, their business will not be spoiled by silly government regulation!! That is sooo important when the Bush-iosi are going to build these power plants and oil refineries to cover all that energy demand Dick Cheney predicted. The Clean Air Act does not allow additional air pollution, when new power plants come on-line. So, for every new plant the companies have to spend lots of money to make their existing plants cleaner. Under the Clean Air Act, Clinton's EPA chief Carol Browner sued 30 coal-fired power plants. I am
sure that your Christine Todd Whitman will take a more compassionate conservative stance and will allow the Bush-iosi to go ahead and generate more air pollution!!

By the way, your energy policy is sooo environmentally balanced!! First your coal-and oil-fired plants will produce lots of carbon dioxide and fat black soot. That will lead to more greenhouse gasses and Global Temperature Enhancement. The oil refineries will balance that by spewing out billions of tons sulfur dioxide, which will lower the temperature. This environmental wisdom is already kicking in. Remember, that drought we had in the Midwest a few years back? Thanks to Global Temperature Enhancement the Midwest now experiences unprecedented rain and floods. The people in the Pacific Northwest never stopped complaining about their rain. This year they enjoy a real Texan drought. What a little
compassionate conservative engineering can achieve!!

It was sooo wise of you to chose Lawrence B. Lindsey as your top economic coordinator. During the year 2000 Larry worked as a consultant for Enron and made $50,000. Better still, he gained valuable insights into how your government can support Enron's interests. Enron is such a good choice anyway. It's stock has soared during the last year and Larry's stock rose to close to $250,000! Also your National Security Adviser Condoleeza Rice knows how the economy works. She held stock close to $500,000 and made $60,000 as a director of Chevron, another Bush-iosi company. Karl Rove, your senior political adviser had assets above $2.3 million, and Dick's Chief of Staff, I Lewis (Scooter) Libby was on a par with Carl
Rove. Scooter is such a smart guy! Remember, how he worked on that Rich pardon case (that those stupid Dems bungled)!! We are sooo happy to know that such competent people are
running the Christian Corporation of America!!

In the meantime the Bush-iosi are building a Global Powerhouse. In the early 1990ties Enron started working in Maharashtra (India). In 1992 they were the largest foreign investor and accounted for 10% of foreign investment in that fast growing economy. With some $20 million Enron "educated" the local authorities in India that this "self-reliance" thing is utter nonsense
and that the Indians can only survive if they import the magnificent and profitable technology of Enron. In 1999 Enron started a 740 MW naphta-powered plant, which now generates power at a rate of $0.15 per kWh. That is three times the local rate. Such a profitable scheme! Global Bush-iosi Power at its best!!

My neighbor told me that poor families in this country spend 15% of their income for energy. Under your Tax Cut they will get a $64 refund. Thanks to the exercise of market power by our friends the Bush-iosi in the power, oil and gas industry the energy costs for the poor will rise much more than the $64 Tax Relief those families will get. Therefore, those families have less and less money for food and health care for their kids. Now the poor face the hard choice of "heat or eat". What a great emerging market for your Faith-Based initiatives! Your
magnificent policies kill two birds with one stone: a big juicy Tax Cut for us, and more Faith-based Initiatives for the poor!!

The Tax Cut checks are almost in the mail. On the 700 Club Pat Robertson told us that the Tax Cut is designed in such a way that most of it will not kick in before 2006. Therefore, it will not stimulate the economy before the year 2011. Your Tax Cut scheme reminds me of that of Ronald Reagan. Remember, Ronnie's 1982 Tax Cut? It generated $130 billion more tax revenue for the Government in its first 4 years, and the largest budget deficit in history. Between 1982 and 1992, when Ronald and your Dad were in power, taxes rose 9 times. In his last
year in office your Dad managed to squeeze more than a $100 billion in extra tax revenue out of the pockets of the US-taxpayers. Most of your Tax Cut is back-loaded to 2006 and
after, anyway. By that time the Dems can take care of the deficit it has caused. That is such a magnificent repeat of the Tax Cut gimmicks of Ronnie and your Dad. They left Clinton with that huge deficit! You are such a genius!!

On the education front we have good news. The National Education Association (NEA), the union of those softy, liberal teachers, passed a resolution stating that "The freedom of religion is a fundamental right". So, they finally adopted our curriculum of Bushonics, Fuzzy Math and Creationism? No way!! Those hideous, insidious liberals go an to say that they want to ". foster the use of nondiscriminatory, nonracist, nonsexist, and nonstereotypical language, resources, practices, and activities". You know what that means? Those teachers are going to
teach about Non-Christian religions, such as the Islam and Buddhism, and Pagan ideas such as Mother Creator or that Raven who Stole the Light. Sure, the Family Research Council and
that forward-looking organization "Toward Tradition" immediately blasted the NEA. Yarden Weidenfeld of Toward Tradition said: "It is pretty typical of much of the educational establishment to, on the one hand, preach tolerance of all ideas. The word tolerance is completely at odds with Judeo-Christian values". Sure, the American Center for Law and Justice will try to sue the Hell out of the NEA. It is Our Way, or No Way! This country will enter Total War for Christian Education Only!! Count on the girls of the Christian Coalition!!

By the way, your daughters are becoming real Grand Old Party Animals!! I am sorry to hear that they had a little problem with that legislation you signed into Texas Law in 1999. But, who cares about a fake ID to buy a beer? Would that Law ever have stopped you? I am sure, that Al "Stonewall" Gonzales will straighten out the problems of your daughters, just like he got you out of that police station in Kennebunkport in 1976!

My motto for the week to come: Beware of the Power of Compassionate Conservatives!

God Bless 'Merica!
Your Nancy

Dubya's Dirty Double-Dealing hasn't gone unnoticed by the general population either. While most voters do not discuss the details like we do here, simply bringing up the subject of the president around here brings out verbal bursts of abuse. An awful lot of people are downright angry at Bush. What they would think or do if they knew the facts as well as we do, eh? What if they knew about the massive conflicts of interest in the appointments that Bush made? You know, General Dynamics, the maker of Navy Ships, is in charge of the Navy right now, for instance. KRS once posted a nice list of these conflicting intersts ... what was the title of that post again?

You have to kind of admire being able to extract that much money from all these people without holding a gun to their heads.
Ah the rule of law! How bad can they get pinched before somebody says screw the law I'm being raped?
