As far as flags go I think the US has one of the finest looking flags around. I'm not sure how much of that opinion is objective and how much is prejudicial. The bald eagle as our national symbol I have no complaints with either.
I do wish we could work on a different national anthem though.

Can I join in with the Aussie Flag, actually we have 2 flags one is our National Flag and the other is the Aboriginal Flag. Although I am not Aboriginal, my niece is and so is my sister in law, so I will wave both flags, and be proud of it. As for our national anthem, I personally do not like Advance Australia Fair, but it is better than God Save the Queen.

The Boy Scouts troop in my area started a fund raiser this year - for X amount a year they will come out and 'erect' a flag pole in your front yard - near the street/sidewalk - and then for special occasions like Flag Day, Memorial Day, July 4th and so on, they come out and put your flag up for you.
I thought it was a super idea!

My thoughts on this issue have gone 'Un-Surveyed' and may not be of importance to the P.T.B.
As for our national anthem, I personally do not like Advance Australia Fair, but it is better than God Save the Queen.
