Many participants, dimview included, chose to have an AuctionWatch userID for "discussions" here, and different auctionsite userIDs for buying/selling elsewhere.

Accepted....but NOT when they qustion my ethics and character...I like to know who is questioning me...especially when I give an ID on an Auction Site that this person accuses me of being underhanded etc!!! Yet I have NO WAY or others of finding the reputation and character of the person accusing me!!!

Anyone posting messages to a "public" newsgroups (USENET), chatboards (like AuctionWatch), etc. does so with the understanding that many particpants are using anonymous IDs.
typo.

Thanks dimview...geesh guess I should go get another identity and hide like eSeller004...and accuse people of things that are untrue!.....NOPE! I will just leave and have faith that people will see the truth!!!
I will not be back! My customers and decent fellow ex ePier Sellers know the truth about me and my reputation!
I guess ebay is the only game in town...sad as I give 10% of all my Sales to a Charity, but at least I know the demon I am dealing with!!!

This whole thing is just a shame!
Why would someone even begin to assume (and then say aloud) that someone was banned from a site because of certain types of behavior when they really have no clue as to what happened?
Why wouldn't someone just ask the other(s) involved what happened before jumping to conclusions and making a comment like that?
It's called courtesy........and maybe a hint of respect.......it doesn't cost anything and is free for all to use. That is unless pride gets in the way........
I think that comment was terribly sad and definitely a reflection of one's character.
