This is the message I receive when trying to withdraw an auction payment tonight."Users who are not Verified may only request a check to billing addresses. Please register a bank account and request an electronic funds transfer or register a credit card with your account. You may also contact customer service at [email protected] if you do not want to add a bank account or credit card to your account."For the past six months or more they have sent checks to my already verified address.

I'm sorry, but this makes a lot of sense to me. There are all kinds of holes in the address verification. If they go with billing addresses, many of those problems disappear.

Yes I did contact them & am awaiting a reply. My point is I have already proven & verified my address with them. They are now wanting to force verifing a bank account or credit card.

After reading about this on the boards I went to check it out. I don't have much in my PayPal account but requested a check just to see. Yep - says I either have to register a bank account or give them a credit card with a physical billing address. Geepers - I don't have any credit cards with a physical address because I don't get, and never have gotten, any mail at my physical address because the post office that serves my physical address is totally unreliable. My PO Box is in another town!
I can't give them my bank account information because I bank at a Credit Union and if I start transferring my auction payments electronically, they will say this is a business account and Credit Unions don't have business accounts.
I'm beginning to think that PayPal is from North Carolina! They are acting just like our legislature - enact something and then see where the chips fall.
