This paragraph is from the article that you referenced above. Surely they must be talking about another PayPal because the one that I know and love is just the opposite.

Hey, I didn't write it. But I think what he meant was that they don't claim to be banks or to be regulated like banks. In any case, he obviously likes Paypal, not having had a problem with them yet. At least he was honest enough to mention that other people have. I'm still waiting for a real no-holds-barred article that tells it like it is, with links to the posts here. Come on, there's got to be a reporter out there whose tired of the same old "auction fraud" stories and ready to take on the big boys.
