Call me suspicious or cynical if you like, but has anyone ever questioned the actual existence of PayPal Damon.
On the one side we have seen countless posts about problem after problem over a plethora of issues concerning PayPal.
Suddenly, when all seems hopeless, along comes Damon on his white horse to save the day.
Now, I ask you, would any sane person who seems to have the attributes ,skills and talents of Damon, continue to work for an organisation that displays the incompetance of PayPal. I don't think so!
Has anyone considered the probability that damon is a clever myth?
Has he been created as a fictitious character to head off impending law suits and calm troubled waters?
Is Damon the public persona of PayPal's smoke and mirrors department?
If you reckon that PayPal has been conning you is Damon their best con yet?
Has anyone actually met Damon in person, or at the least spoken with him? Can anyone prove he is real?
Convince me with proven fact and I will put my cynicism back in the box. Until you can, I will remain cynical.
Damon, prove to me beyond doubt, that you exist.

B-and-b, was Hercules a myth? Was Ulysses a myth? No, because they live in our hearts, like PayPalDamon.
Unfortunately, I think PPD's job is more damage/spin control than customer support. He may flash his Excalibur sword in these message forums, but there are thousands of abuses going on behind the scenes that are ignored.
I'm already familiar with the "corporate bully hiding behind sweet customer reps" scenario from dealing with eBay. As Paypal's representative, I judge Damon by the actions of his employer. I could care less if he's a nice guy. (And yes, he did help me with a problem once.)
Damon was the one telling us "Paypal will never do that" and now he's saying the same thing: "We won't lock up your entire account over a single dispute."
Problems like "I'm an honest guy working for a company that lies and cheats" are ethical dilemmas that each of us face all the time. At some point a person must assume responsibility, not just shrug it off on the company. Damon is not stupid and he knows what is wrong with Paypal.
I am 100% legitimate. I have been working on several other projects at the moment and it has really been limited to a "lurking" stage to see what concerns the users are having on the discussion forums.

PayPal may have its problems, by Damon was very helpful and quick to respond to me when I was having problems. After emailing him I did actually get a phone call from a real PayPal Customer Service person who was ready to help solve my problem. However, by the time that guy called me I had already solved my own problem, at least for the time being.
I truly believe that Damon is trying to help us as best he can.

I'm one of the PayPal victim. My money frozen over three month.
I never received any document or any explanation from PayPal. All my
complaints was ignored. Finally Damon from PayPal asked to contact him
with information and I did. Than I contacted him again and he ask to refresh
his memory and I did. Nothing happen, so I contact Damon again and offer
to file complaint against PayPal together because they didn't respond.
From that time Damon disappear, I sent few more e-mails to him with
one question: " what happen?", but Damon stop reply to my e-mail.
Anybody know what happen to Damon? Maybe they fired him or he
quit. I understand, very stressful job.
So this is my conclusion: Close your accounts with PayPal ASAP
before they grab your money and do your business old fashion way.
Money Order is the best way. It takes few days extra but you will
receive your money and will send your merchandise. With PayPal
you only see, your money is there, but you cannot get them.
Your Account restricted and you cannot brake that wall. PayPal
silent no word from them, like you are not exist.
