I am interested in unverifying my paypal account.......is it possible to do this......WHY?, well i am paranoid since paypal has "access" to my checking account at my local bank that there migh be some problems down the road.....such as if i have a buyer file a bogus claim after i withdraw their payment, can't paypal go into my checking acct.....other reasons based on posts i have read about problems with paypal have made me paranoid about them having an open door to my account....thus i wish to unverify........or if i have to just close my paypal acct all together........

To become un-verified just remove your bank account information.
Good luck trying to close the account tho, I'm still trying and they won't let me close it without submitting another credit card after I pulled my bank and cc from the account...no way will I put in another cc number, I just want paypal to go away.

ok here is what you do !!!
As long as you dont pay for item through paypal with your checking includeing not haveing your debit check card as your Credit card number with them.
before you unverify your checking with paypal go down to your local bank they have paper you can fill out that will put a lock on your account for any paypal withdrawals.
this will Keep them out of your account and should not interfear with direct deposits at all into your account.
I had to do this type of trouble way bank with AOL I used my checking account with them to pay the account when I canceled my account they kept takeing there monthly payment had to go to the bank and make out papers preventing AOL from takeing Payments from my checking account.
These paper are all legal they are notirized and all and are good untill you reverse this action with your bank.
