Now that X.com is history for all intents and purposes, why in the world is it still listed as a payment option?
It keeps showing up in my auctions, even though I have gone in and changed my billing preferences. It's like gum on my shoe or a relative that has long overstayed his welcome. I can't seem to get rid of it (in my auction listings anyway).
I will give them brownie points for one thing. I emptied out my X.com account last month as soon as I heard they were going to slap that $12 a month charge on accounts that fell below $100. Yesterday I received a check from them for $0.02! Must be the interest they paid for the few days my money was sitting there last month before I got it out of there.
Wonder how much it cost them to cut that check for 2 cents? They paid 27 cents to mail me a check for 2 cents! Hmmm....wonder why they closed up shop? Terrific management over there!
Anyway, I noticed you added Yahoo's PayDirect to the payment option screens. How about deep sixing the X.com option and replacing it with PayPlace. I've had great luck with them so far.
