Damon Please read.
We have jumped through all of PayPal's hoops and even upgraded our account. We were going to stick with them for the short term (at least).
Now they are closing x.com accounts. We used our x.com account to verify. Now we will be unverified and be forced to verify our personal account (fat chance) or open a new one.
Damon, you need to change this so that the people that are already verified using their x.com accounts REMAIN VERIFIED!
We do not trust PayPal enough to verify our personal account. Can you blame us?

I second everything this person just said.
Now that x.com is closing, I won't be adding my personal bank account to Paypal. I was verified once - if it's a matter of verification, then I've already done that and shouldn't have to AGAIN.
I opened a Compubank account in which to receive auction $ (from billpoint, exchangepath, paydirect, and paypal)..but Compubank isn't good enough for Paypal? Well, then we won't be using Paypal much I guess...I'll go back to being unverified and ask buyers to use any of the other methods to pay instead, if at all possible.
