I signed up at Paypal because I know that it is recommended by eBay. I saw an item that I wanted to pay via Paypal. I asked my Dad's permission to use his credit card in order to pay for the item. However, after entering the card number, the webpage said that it didn't recognize the card. Then after a day or so, I received an e-mail stating that my account on Paypal was restricted. Can you please help get out of this mess. Thanks!!!

Just a guess here, but since your name and the name on the credit card didn't match, that might have caused the restriction and problems... they have a verification process with Paypal..
Damon can probably provide more knowledgeable answers, but that would be my first guess.
I know my bro-in-law can't have an account because my sis has the only CC they have attached to Her account - and they can't get 2 PP accounts linked to the same CC.
All credit cards go through a screening process. Without looking at the records, I am going to assume that it is restricted until documentation is presented to support the id of the cardholder.
