Let me thank you in advance for your help! Two questions:

1) How does a buyer withdraw a complaint at PayPal? One of my buyers filed very precipitously (without corresponding with me first), and now is realizing he didn't need to do that, but I can't find info at PayPal on how he goes about withdrawing the complaint.

2) Does a USPS Delivery Confirmation satisfy PayPal's requirement of proof of mailing to the confirmed address? "The seller can provide reasonable proof-of-shipment which can be tracked online. This documentation must show that you shipped to the Confirmed Address."

Again, thanks!

Hi Islander,

Please feel free to send me the Buyer Protection issue, but I do feel that they will ask for the information in the Seller Protection Program (to be on the safe side).

Yes, delivery confirmation is acceptable proof.

Thanks.

PPD: Isn't there a place for the Buyer to contact PayPal and withdraw the complaint? I'm trying to get a link or something, to send to him so he can withdraw complaint.

How do I send you something? Not seeing an email.

Hi islander,

No, there is not a place to withdraw the complaint. Please feel free to send me the information and I will see if the Buyer Protection team can take a look at it.

Hi Islander,

Sorry. I just assume that everyone knows [email protected].

Thanks. I probably did know it once, but senior moments, you know.

May I give the address to the buyer so that it is he that initiates the request to withdraw his complaint?

Hi,

Yes, please feel free to direct it my way. I will make sure that both correspondence issues get directed to the appropriate party.

Hi Damon,

Thanks again! Buyer sent me cc's of correspondence from PP. We're on track to get this cleared up. Wouldn't it be wonderful if USPS would now come up with the package they lost?!?!?!
