I had 2 credit cards registered in my personal PayPal account. Several days ago, I upgraded to a premier account and removed one of the credit cards. I created a new personal account and tried to register the aforementioned credit card (removed from my first account) and it would not allow me to do so. It gave me the message that the CC was being used for another account.
Is the CC number stored in the system for a period of time before it can be used again? Any help is appreciated. Thanks!
The old credit card would sit against the other account until it is closed. I realize this is inconvenient, but it is done as a security precaution and it is also done so that the user can add it back to the original account.
