Hello Damon,
I paid for an auction, last night, with PayPal. I emailed the seller a few days ago to ask if he took paypal because he didn't mention it in his auction. he replied saying that he has paid for auctions with paypal, but was never paid for one of his auctions with paypal, but he guessed it would be OK. Auction ended last night & I sent him 114.50 via paypal from my checking account. Today he emailed me & said he didn't take paypal??
& I should send him a check for that amount.
How can I get my 114.50 back from paypal?
I will email you details of the transaction if you like. I really don't want to send a check until I know I can get my 114.50 back.
If the payment has been accepted by the account, please do the following:
1. email the seller and ask them to send it back (an active account receiving a payment would display the name, email address, and would show as completed/claimed).
2. If that doesn't work, and the seller has claimed the payment, please file a Buyer Complaint.
You can cancel the payment if it has not been claimed.

Damon, it says completed, doesn't say claimed. I think the problem is this seller, (who by the way is mostly a buyer & doesn't really understand how PayPal works,)
does not know how to claim the money.
I'm sure now that he is limited to 100.00 a month, so how can he get the money. Wouldn't he have to sign up for a business account. I know hw wouldn't want to do that.
If you would like his email address I can send it to you if you like.
Also how would he send it back to me, what steps should he take. I don't know how to do that myself.
