I know I can receive up to $100 via personal account per month.
Is this $100 via credit card or through echeck. Can I receive more than $100 a month without upgrading to a business account if everything comes from existing balance or echeck?
With my premier account, I am charged for every transaction whether or not funds come from credit card or existing balance.

How do I downgrade to a personal account? I mostly use Paypal for my personal purchases but the fees charged when I sell a $2 item are costing me a fortune.

Cassie, you can't change your business account to a personal account yourself. It has to be done for you by someone at PayPal.

uaru or ppd:
It appears to me that you can't set any preferences for a personal account to accept only non-credit card payments. Thus, if a buyer ignores/never reads your Paypal payment terms and sends you a credit card payment anyway, PP will automatically accept (complete) it for you.
Since you're only allowed to downgrade back to a personal acoount once, you end up in a big jam with your fees or your buyer...?

If you have a personal account and buyer sends you a CC payment that brings you over your $100 limit, you can either upgrade or not accept the payment and buyer can cancel it. It will not be automatically accepted if it brings you about your limit.
