Damon,


i have the unsavory task of filing a fraud complaint for merchandise not delivered as well as charging the cost back to my credit card, i have recieved a reversal for most of the monies to my account $4.90 out of $5.20, upon filing a complaint with paypal. I have also filed a fraud complaint with ebay for the item but can not file for the insurance obveously.

my question is will paypal reverse the reversal if the seller raises enough of a stink or will i have to grind this through the credit card company to eventualy get a chargeback refund? I can provide particulars through email if nessicary

Hi,

Our Buyer Complaint Process for merchandsie received can take up to 30 days after you file. I would let this option go forward first,as it could lead to recovery (if a non-delivery claim).

You can file a chargeback with the credit card company(generally within 60 days), but I can't make the promise that it will not impact your ability to use your PayPal account (as an FYI-users with excessive chargebacks can be removed from our system).
