Ok, I am really getting pissed off about the exchange rates that PayPal is using. The dollar is only going down and down and down compared to the Euro. And what do you think? PayPal gives even less Euro's for the dollars! I just tried to take money out of my account and as the dollar is now exactly the same value as the euro, I thought I'd better do it before it drops even more. What do I find out? PayPal only gives 0.95 Euro for one dollar! Hello... don't you know that they Euro and the dollar have exactly the same value??? This is just pure theft!

I didn't know it was illegal to complain about both services. I have used PayPal for a long time as a seller and well.. to be honest, they NEVER give us the day rate.
For your information, several months ago I got 1,10 Euro for one dollar. While the actual exchange rate for the dollar Euro then was 1.15 Euro for one dollar.
You can think that I just want to complain, but every bank withdrawal of $300, costs me $20.00 that just disappears into nothing. That is 7% less then the official daily exchange rates or the banks would give me. I think that is quite a lot! How would you feel if you had to pay 7% of your money to PayPal everytime you withdrew some funds.

exchange rate fluctuates minute by minute, and there is a bid and ask price.
depends on volume as well,if paypal does not buy /sell enough euro,it does not get the best rate.
and then one may ask, what is the best rate?/
what you see in news paper or online is not what paypal pays.
