Is it me or have the PayPal bashers retreated soon after the announcement of the eBay "takeover". The number of posts seem to be quite lower.

You noticed that too? I think some of us got quiet thinking that professional people are finally going to start managing Paypal. Anything is better than the amateurs that have been running Paypal up to now. Especially those who think they are in customer (dis)service!

Perhaps they are filing suits with the SEC. Like these unhappy Paypal stockholders:

Makes you wonder. With these law firms billing upwards of a thousand dollars an hour, where the money's gonna come from. Who knows they might be charging 15% pretty soon.

I do expect eBay to clean up a lot of Paypal's practices. Sometime in the next year you will hear a settlement of customer class-action lawsuits and an agreement to not freeze customer's accounts, specific time limits to respond etc. Paypal and Paypal's Damon will have the unmitigated gall to say that these were changes they were planning to implement all along in their effort to enhance the customer experience yadda yadda something something.

Where are the PayPal opponents you may ask? Unlike the PayPal cheerleaders, we are not PAID by PayPal. Plus, we have have lives of our own which doesn't revolve around praising or complaining about PayPal.

Many of us are working in the background as I hope you are. This "Merger" is not a completed deal yet. My groups as well as several others, have banned together and are filing complaints with many agencies. Some of the silence on our part is to keep Paypal from being aware of what is going on so they can't anticipate our moves. Some may believe it is a vain attempt,(we careless about that) but many don't see it that way. Anyone who is sincere about helping and is willing to spend some time at helping can e-mail me at [email protected] . As I said we appreciate any and all help as long as you will work with us. As far as Uaru and the other paypal bible pumpers go, any of their rhetoric is just falling on deaf ears. My suggestion to them would be to write the agencies and flood them with their praises.
