I have a buyer that is trying to pay for an auction that they won on Jan 26. PayPal won't let them pay because they say they are not the winner of the auction. Has anyone had that problem?

I sent my buyer a PayPal invoice and since they had no record of the buyer winning the auction when they tried to pay it was rejected.
I wrote an email to customer service at PayPal and within an hour I had a response. Great customer service. I was told to tell the buyer to send it non auction goods and it should go through. I don't know if my buyer tried it yet as I haven't heard from them. I was really impressed when I received that email so promptly. I want to thank PayPal for being on top of this problem.

No it wasn't a second offer, but I didn't receive an EOA on this auction either from eBay like I did all the others. It was during that time when that virus was around. I haven't heard anything back from the buyer to see if they tried the way PayPal suggested. I think that customer service at PayPal is at least up on things. I hope it doesn't go the way eBay is and you can't contact anyone.
