Does your firewall have settings you can adjust? With mine, I can set which programs to allow access to. However, my FW never interfered with Vendio, just eBay. What firewall are you using? Mine is from Computer Associates and it's rather easy to use. But, I have found that the minute I disable it, all kinds of things find their way onto my computer.
