I'm evaluating several auction management programs right now, mainly to find an easy way to re-list unsold Yahoo items on ebay and vice-versa.
One concern I have is whether my photos will show up in searches or in gallery if they are hosted on a different site rather than loaded directly to Yahoo. I believe it will simply show a camera icon during searches, and the gallery will actually be blank. Could someone confirm this or correct me if I'm wrong?
I will probably stick with using the bulk loader and/or Seller's Manager if what I suspect is true as I do believe having photos in gallery helps with sales.

That's the big problem - they don't! And without the gallery photo, I think the sales are pretty bad.
What does work is to always have the photos as img src out of an html description, and just add one lead photo into Yahoo for each auction. That saves some time with uploading the auctions, and keeps the changes from ebay to Yahoo more minimal... but we've always found that for some reason Yahoo is extremely slow in loading auction listings with the non-Yahoo pics.

My photos hosted on my website, did show up in Yahoo's gallery. I uploaded these using the bulk loader during the last fld. They did not pick up all of the pics, but I would say around 99%.

My bulk loaded auctions use the pictures perfectly well in the gallery and in my "booth."
Also, the auction management service I use recently worked out an arrangement with Yahoo that auctions launched through them now work perfectly as well (Not Auctionwatch, but I'm not going to name names here)
Images on Yahoo used to be a problem, but it IS getting better!

For those whose pictures hosted elsewhere worked OK, were these loaded through Yahoo's bulk loader or an outside client's software package?
Replaymedia - is there somewhere you would share that info. I'd be interested in learning it. Thanks!
