I sell a lot of low price items and my buyers complain about the shipping fee which is usually higher than their bid! Consequently I get a lot of buyers who don't pay. I can't help the shipping fee as I live in the western part of the US and most of my buyers are in zone 7 and 8. I am considering getting a FedEx or UPS account and having pickup at the house. I understand it is much cheaper than Priority Mail. However, I will have to buy or beg boxes. I ship anywhere from 15 to 50 items a week, some are books I sell on Amazon, so trips to the post office are a hassle three times a week since I have to juggle my way through two doors. Anyone out there have suggestions?

Both UPS and FedEx pick up at the house. However there is a fee for this service, so I don't know if it is worth it or not. My daughter has this service but then she only ships electronics and doesn't have to pack everything, its already boxed.
