I am not a CSV user, I have always had my auctions set up/created via FrontPage (because our web sites are created in FrontPage and are often interchangeable with our auction ads). THEREFORE, the little CSV experience I have had in my 20+ years on computers has been storage via CSV files.

MY QUESTION IS: How well does YAHOO’S SELLER’S MANAGER work? That is, how well does it function? Is it reliable?

The “Bulk Loader” does not seem functional for me, since all my auctions are already in template format for eBay and web sites and redoing them all in CSV format is too time consuming and complicated to me.

SO, you who use or have used YAHOO’S SELLER’S MANAGER, what do you like or dislike about it, and how well does it function?

How does Yahoo’s Seller’s Manager compare to eBay’s TURBO-LISTER? I’ve never had a problem with Turbo-Lister.

Thanks so much for the assistance.

You will find that the seller manager is very easy to use. You don't have 600 pages of garbage to click through like ebay and most everything is quite straight forward.

Converting your templates to a .csv should be fair easily. Just dump the template listings into a single file, and paste the .csv fields after each line. (you'll need to convert the line feeds to paragraph tags)

The only other difficulties should be manually entering the catagory numbers (easy if items are in the same catagory) and entering the prices (which should be easy).

sthoemke Thanks, but Excel simply has not been one of my better accomplishments, think I'll try Seller's Manager First.

I find it best to use a simple texteditor, such as Wordpad or Notepad to create a .csv file.
