I'm trying to edit the auction titled "Lot of 14 new Children's Christmas videos". It used to be 15 videos, but I'm out of one of them so I just wanted to take that one out of the description.

I click on the item, choose edit, open the description field, edit it, click ok, and nothing happens. It stays the same. Am I doing something wrong?

Hi there,

Make sure you click on save at the bottom left side.

Hope this help.

I can click save on the bottom left, but the pop up description editor doesn't go away, so I have to close it manually. Even after I hit save the changes aren't saved.

Now I'm trying to create an inventory item for the first time and I added the pictures, clicked ok, and the same thing happened. The pop up window went blank and the pictures don't show up. I tried to hit save to see if that helped, and it just kept saying processing for 15 minutes so I finally hit cancel.

Ok, I've decided that the problem is anything that uses the pop up window - pictures, descriptions, etc. I have read the help section and I'm doing everything correctly - I think it's just some kind of glitch in the system. After I click ok the pop up doesn't go away (the information in it does, though) and changes haven't been made.

Hello Ihula,

There is a bug out right now on various issues related to the Mac platform. What you are describing might be part of it, I am checking on this for you right now and will let you know once I find out.

Regards,

Sonya

Hi Sonya,
I think you're right. I edited the one auction that I needed to (the Christmas videos) on my husbands laptop (PC) and it edited just fine, so it must be my mac. If you can figure out a work-around that would be better, though, because I find it easier to work on my computer

Hi

I reported the same problem to Vendio and they confirmed it is a bug. As a workaround try Netscape 7.2 as your browser. Safari and IE don't work with Vendio on the Mac, but testing yesterday confirmed Netscape did... I certainly hope this is fixed SOON as it is a PITA.

Thanks for the tip. I'll have to download Netscape from someplace and try it - I thought it came with my computer, but I can't find it (new to the mac, so it's taking awhile to get used to it)

It might just be me but I think they should have tested SMIE thoroughly before releasing it. Waaaaay to many bugs!
