The "Help" feature tells me how to do it, but point 4 says "Scroll to the bottom of the item listing, click the box next to "Save this item in my inventory", then click the "Save" button. My listings DO NOT have a "Save this item in my inventory" box to click. Can you help? Blessings! Frank

Hello,
unfortunately, the Help file you refer to applies only for Sales Manager Merchandising Edition. There is however a workaround in order to save a closed item into your SMIE inventory:
select the item, then click relist. In the next page, select a date in the future (i.e. schedule the item). Then run again an import from your listings. Afterward, do not forget to unschedule the item.
This workaround should work provided that the closed item was launched from SMME.
