Hello,

I switched to SMIE and am very impressed! However I now find that listings I create and sync via Sales Manager Pro do not appear in my SMIE Pending Listings page. I am aware that we need to tell SMIE which week we wish to see when viewing Pending Listings yet cannot find my scheduled listings anywhere nor do any error messages appear. Does anyone have any hints as to what I may be doing wrong? Thanks in advance for any help...

Hi Kurt,

If you select View Options in pending and choose next week, you should see a number of scheduled listings. Are any of these the ones you uploaded from Pro? If not, can you let us know how far out you scheduled them for launch?

Regards,

Sonya

Hello Sonya,

Thank you for your response. I am aware that we can use the "View Options" button to select which week's pending listings we wish to see. However, I am unable to find my SMP-launched listings within any targeted week. Here is a brief summmary of my actions (successful and unsuccessful):

SCENARIO 1: Immediate Launch
1. Create listing in SMP as follows:
* Listing Type: eBay store
* Schedule Launch: Next Upload
2. Perform Syncronization: Successful
3. Check eBay listings: Listing appears

SCENARIO 2: Pending Launch
1. Create listing in SMP as follows:
* Listing Type: eBay store
* Schedule Launch: Fri, Nov 5 8:00 PM
2. Perform Syncronization: Successful
3. Check SMIE Pending Listings as follows:
* Select Listings->Pending Listings
* Click "View Options" button
* Select "Period": "This week"
* Listing does not appear

I've also checked subsequent weeks and am unable to find the listing. The same thing also happens with pending listings submitted as auctions instead of eBay store inventory. This problem occurs consistently as I have tested several times over a 24 hour period. I did also try closing and re-opening SMP with no change. I hope that this additional information is helpful. Please let me know if you have any ideas. Thanks in advance! -Kurt

Hi Sonya,

In my previous posts I indicated that pending listings I create in SMP were not visible in the appropriate period view in SMIE. While working at my desk just now I noticed several of these pending listings launching per the schedule I had given them. This would seem to indicate that the listings were successfully synched with Vendio via SMP though simply not available to view as pending items in SMIE. Please let me know if I can provide any additional info and thanks again for your help.

By the way, my current workaround for this problem has been to simply begin creating all of my listings via the SMIE Inventory system. This is working great as my pending listings always appear in their appropriate week and I LOVE using the new system. The Launch Profiles feature in particular is fantastic! You guys really did a wonderful job with this release!

My apologies for responding to your post so late. Thank you for the update, letting us know that you located your items. We are happy to hear you are enjoying SMIE.

Hi Sonya,

Though I have a workaround in place I think that the problem still exists as I am still unable to use SMP to create pending listings. However if noone else seems to be experiencing the problem then perhaps it is something about the particular way I am doing things. Thanks for your help.

Kurt
