Just a few little things that bug me. Anyone who would like to comment or add thoughts go for it. Maybe with a few suggestions they will make some changes.

1. Gallery Pictures
It would make my life a whole lot easier if I could set it somewhere so that my gallery picture was always based on the first picture attached to the item. I thought I had been able to do that somewhere a long long time ago but I've been manually having to change it everytime. Help me out, if there is a way already point me in the right direction.

2. Linking Default Prices
I made the mistake of changing a price on the Site Specific page and have made copies of that listing for new items. Problem is, I can't find a way to restore the link between the default prices and the site specific prices. Help. This has already cost me money out of pocket for an item that sold for 7.95 rather than the 35.00 I entered in the default pricing. Even if the pricing was all on one screen so you would see it.

3. Quantities
Would it be possible to adjust the quantity available without having to go into the edit screen. If you click the quantity listed or to ship numbers it takes you to a page to adjust those numbers. However if you click the quantity available number, it takes you to the same page. And it has nothing to do with the available number.

4. Profile Adjusted Pricing
It would be nice to have to the current adjusted pricing available to look at somewhere. I love this feature in theory, but I have no way to monitor where the prices are at or which way they are going.

Well, now that I was reviewing all my listings for the difference between default and site specific pricing. Looks like I had two listings really out to lunch on their prices. I also have a bunch where the link between the default and site specific is broken, but the prices are still fairly close.

Probably out of pocket for me in the neighborhood of 50 bucks in total on those two sales alone though. Oh well, live and learn I guess.

Looks like a couple of ebayers got really good deals though. And hopefully some of you will learn from my mistake and double check your listings before it is too late.

Thanks NorthwestSurplus,

These suggestions really help us improve the service. Here are some considerations.

1. I'll review this with the image hosting team who is ultimately responsible for all the image features, including those in SMIE.

2. Yes, this enhancement is on the way--essentially a way to "relink" the default and site specific pricing (as well as some other "inherited" values, like inventory name to site specific title).

3. Yes, you can already do this change using Find and Replace instead of bulk edit. Select the item or items for which you want to change quantity available and click 'find and replace' on the main inventory page. You can then increase by a set amount or change them all to a set amount. Let me know if you have any problems using this feature, and we can clarify it more.

4. Can you let me know where you'd like to see this adjustment history? I believe it's available in the item history (available by clicking any of the quantities in the main inventory page), but I need to confirm with the team. I can think of other places, but where would you like to see it?

re: Quantities

I guess what I was getting at is that having the quantity available number as a link on the summary page is a little misleading, when you click on it the page you get doesn't even allow you to change the available quantity.

re: Adjusted Prices

Personally I would like to have the adjusted pricing show on the main summary page. I do realize this would pose some challenges because of the different auction sites available (personally I am an ebay only guy so it seems simple). What about having a way for each person to select what pricing profiles show on their summary page. Or have them all on that page, but let us move the columns around so that we put the ones we care about where it is visible on our screen without having to scroll over.

I had a look at the item history and the adjustments. Nice to know it is somewhere anyways.
