Now that I have been using SMIE for over a week now I have some suggestions and comments about the program.
Vendio, please look them over and let me know what you think. I know there are alot.
Here are some things I would like to see or do:
1. To be able to edit multiple auctions at once in Pending instead of one at a time.
The ablilty not to have the editing (adding a Buy It Now, subtitle, etc..something that I might only use once or to take advantage of during an eBay promotion) change the actual "master inventory" item since the change might be temporary.
2. To be able to "apply copy to all" under the Payment Tab in editing multiple auctions at once.
Currently it does not allow that whether the Paypal checkbox is checked off or not in Global Preferences.
If I have 10 auctions to edit and click Paypal and then try to "apply change to all" it does not work.
3. Possibly "greying out" or putting some type of marker for 55 characters in the Inventory tab when editing/creating a title so we know how many letters 55 characters take up.
The old Sales Manager was better with this....it took you to 55 and that was it. The item specific title doesn't do it for me since it doesnt copy it to the Inventory title and going back and forth is time consuming.
I realize that the Inventory tab is for our own use and we can make it as long as we like but I would really like to see that tab possibly greyed out showing how many characters 55 takes up on the line.
Same thing with the Default subtitle tab....it seems to be endless and does not stop at 55 characters.
4. I miss the profiles of the old Sales Manager.
I do realize that I can have an inventory item and copy it, but I liked being able to instantly pull up a profile when creating an inventory item instead of searching for it and then copying it as i do now in this version of Sales Manager.
5. If in the future I decide to change my shipping price, what is the easiest way considering I have over 3000 inventory items I would have to change. Is it something I would have to have Vendio Engineering do, or can i do it myself?
If I change the shipping prices in my Global Preferences, it only effects newly created auctions not inventory items that I launch from inventory correct?
6. The suggestion of having the first photo become a gallery photo is a great idea.
Sometimes searching for the photo can be time consuming. That would be a great idea to have that first photo show up in Site Specific FEATURES when editing and just clicking on the Gallery button.
Or I think maybe even a better idea would to have the Gallery option show up when editing/creating an auction in the Select Images.
Since I am already in that section attaching images, it would just make sense to be able to set a Gallery image at the same time like we were able to do in the original Sales Manager.
7. Have the photos file name appear under the photo when looking at the attached images in Inventory tab.

Another one:
I like to add the gallery image to my Store Items, but not regular auctions and Fixed Price things. There doesn't seem to be a way to do gallery on just the store items.
That and a way to export inventory information, which I already mentioned in another thread.
