At around 5:30pm PT, a segment of our imagehosting was operating improperly. This affected display of imagehosting and gallery images.

This issue was corrected around 6:45pm PT.

During this outage, approximately 1/2 of the viewers of approximately 1/3 of our user's images were rendered as temporarily not available. This problem was with the image->internet section of the system [e.g. uploads and image management were not affected].
