• Water resistant to 30 metres. Water resistance is measured and rated by depth in meters, tests are made by subjecting the watch to water pressure. The watch will withstand water pressure up to their respective ratings as long as the lens or crystal, crown or push buttons, and case remain intact. Even though the watch may be water resistant to a significant depth, it is not a diver watch and should not be used for diving. Timex strongly recommends rinsing your watch with fresh water after exposure to salt water.
