This cute luster bowl has been loved. It has no crazing, chips or repairs but does have an extremely tight hairline tht goes through its center but never reaches either side. There are no stains in it so it is hard to see. There is a small hairline coming in from the side 1/2". It has a wee bit of brown to it. You can not get a fingernail in either one of these places. As you can see there is wear to the luster as well as the center transfer. I believe this piece was used. It measures 7 1/2" across and is 1 5/8" deep. This piece matches a cup and saucer set that was recently listed. That one was attributed to Sunderland Luster and produced in 1810. They titled their piece "The Favourite" that is where I have gotten the information for my title.This piece is unmarked which is typical for these pieces.
