This nice open salt has been stored properly and is in very good condition for its age. It has no chips, cracks, crazing or repairs. The deep mauve and gold trim shows no wear. There are two very small factory separations on the back rim. I have a close up of that for you to see. This piece is 2 3/8" tall, is 3 5/8" across from handle to handle, has an opening that is 2 1/2" by 1 5/8" and has a foot that is 1 3/4" by 1 1/4". When tapped with your fingernail this piece has a nice high pitched sound indicating to me that there are no chips or cracks that I did not catch.
