This nice old bridge is in pretty good condition for being about 100 years old. It does have one of its rails taped and it wobbles a bit so I am sure it is covering a little break. You can tell it has been on there for many years as the tape is really yellowed. I tried to pull it to one side and then the other but couldn't get it to expose the crack. I am sure with the glues we have today it could be repaired to look just fine. When I feel it with my fingers on both sides at once there doesn't seem to be any missing wood. I wanted to leave it as it is but if you want me to take it off and photograph the underneath I will be happy to. This bridge is 5 3/4" long by 1 7/8" wide. It is 2 3/8" tall at the tallest. My photographs are making it look like a really light wood on my monitor but in person it is a normal medium brown color.I have several photographs for you to see.If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask.
