These nice old quilt is in pretty good condition for its age. I believe it is from the last qurter of the 10th century, 1875 or so. The fabrics in this are velvet, cotton and satin among others that U can not identify. There are only four sections that show holes or shredding. I have close ups of two of them and can send you photographs of the other ywo upon request if you would like to see them. I can only upload 12 and wanted to shpw as many as I could of the entire piece. This quilt has every kind of stitch you can imagine.There are many stitched flowers and animals.The colors of the embroidery thread used are real pretty too and the many style stitches well executed. There are two sets of cursive initials. The back of this is like a toile fabric in green wfoilage with a cream backgroud. The burgudy velvet border really adds alot to this.
