This pretty buckle is in fine condition with no chips, cracks, melts or repairs. I can only see a few light scratches from gentle wear. It is 3 1/2" by 1 7/8" and just under 3/16" thick not including the metal portions on the back. As you can see there is some light or superfiscial rust to the closure and some to one ends bar to run a belt through. I am pretty sure it can be removed with a Brillo pad. The openings for a belt to ru through are 1 1/8" across. The closure is well attached and in working condition. I guarantee this to be vintage, unaltered Bakelite having passed the Simichrome polish test with flying colors. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask.
