This cute pin is in great condition with no chips, cracks, melts or repairs. I can only see few light scratches from gentle wear. As you can see he still retains his original hand painted eye. This piece is of good size measuring 4 3/8" by 2" and 5/16" thick not including the clasp on the back. It has a little dust down in its carving and could use a good cleaning. The clasp on the back is original, well attached and in fine working condition. It does have some superfiscial rust, nothing serious by any means. This pin is probably from the 1940's.
